A copalera is a ceremonial vessel used to burn copal, an aromatic resin. "Copal", from the Náhuatl word "copalli", means incense. Copaleras have been used by indigenous communities within Central and South America for hundreds of years to foster meditation, introspection, spiritual healing, etc.
