A note from the Artist: I made and remade this earring pair until it felt right. The vintage carnelian Lucite bicone bead is topped by an antique bronze 4-petal bead cap and a tiny faceted black glass bead. Below hangs a fluted black w/ gold bead. Traditional meets modern and vintage melds with new, not only in materials but also in sensibility. You will not see yourself coming and going in these Red Lantern earrings as there are a finite number of these vintage Lucite beads in my possession (and out there in the world at large!) My hope is that this pair as well as the other items that I create will encourage you to express yourself, outside of the cookie cutter world of fast fashion.
